Absolutely zero, but I'd rather see some emotion then him looking at the ice if he skated off. Of all the problems with this game, Backes being a tool at the end isn't one I'd be concerned with.Backes had the option of keeping himself in the play until the end of the game; instead, he chose to stop playing and go after a Star's player. Staying with the play doesn't guarantee a goal, but the chances of him having a positive impact on the game while throwing a hissy-fit at center ice is infinitely less than if he were to continue playing until the clock reaches 0. What possible benefit comes from this type of behaviour?
I'm not saying I agree or even approve of it, there's just bigger fish to fry
