That was a great game. It felt like France was chasing Argentina the whole game, down 2-0 and then 3-2 in extra time. Satisifying to see Argentina get the win in the end. Messi and Mbappe went head to head and were excellent.

Thing is, what better option do we have?

- Ties are not acceptable in knockouts for obvious reasons
- If they play golden goal like in hockey, each team will play very defensively
- If they keep playing 15 minute extra time periods until someone won at the end of 15, the players would be exhausted beyond repair
