Diaboli said:And yet I already mentioned I have seen him play. And I'm inbetween. How do you explain that? And please, answer something smart.
AgentNaslund said:It happend 2 years straight in the QMJHL, he did it as a 16 year old, doing it as a 17 year old, and hes doing it right now, as a 17 year old at the World Juniors. It has never happend? It gives everyone every right to call you ignorant.
And when we say dominate, I think they mean win scoring titles. I wouldnt say blow out everyone else in the NHL, but win the art ross trophy.

I'd be really curiour to see how much icetime Crosby is getting.
Some people here claim Crosby is producing because of his linemates (Bergeron). While I say that Crosby could be producing much more if Brent Sutter gave him some more icetime. Sutter rolls 4 lines evenly, and never gives Crosby any SH time (not because Crosby is not a quality penalty killer, but because Canada has many PK specialists... Crosby plays the PK in Rimouski). Sutter also has his players taking very short shifts, and Sidney in particular I've noticed is usually the first one off the ice on his line. Its seemed to me like Crosby only played 10 minutes in the game vs the Swiss because of all the penalties canada took.
And on the other hand, how much icetime is Ovechkin getting?
Think about that. Icetime is very important.

Chaos said:Nice cop out
AgentNaslund said:Tell that to Martin St.Louis.
AgentNaslund said:oh wow, when was the last time you saw both players play?
markov` said:Just the fact that you are arguing about a player that you have never seen play is ridiculous.
Chaos said:Ah bring up one of the few exceptions, and think that wins you the argument :lol .
Chaos said:Boy you are really having a hard time reading through those Crosby glasses, aren't you" I stated back a few pages that I have seen Crosby a few times. next.
Chaos said:You are completely missing the point(probably on purpose I might add). He is dominating in a league of 17, 18, 19 year olds, I give him that. However, it is another thing entirely for him, at his size and age, to dominate a MENS LEAGUE like the RSL.
Chaos said:So then you would agree that it has probably never happened in the past(a 17 year old dominating a league like the RSL), so it is rather ridiculous to claim that Crosby(at his relatively small 5'10, 185lb stature) would be able to dominate a men's league. That is what this entire argument is about.
markov` said:But after all, I think you agree that Crosby *is better than Ovechkin and that's all I say. Even if Canada team is high-powered, the fact that Crosby outscore Ovechkin while being 2 years younger means something, no matter what you say.
markov` said:And I'm sure it isn't true. You live in Texas. I wonder how you could have seen Crosby play.

AgentNaslund said:AS a 19 year old, the RSL will be a cake walk. Any European leagues will be laughable for Crosby.
