Draisaitl seems to lose all his skating ability when he has to back track, does fine when he smells a scoring opportunity though
Board is way too emo, IMO. They weren't supposed to win tonight, tying it 6-6 doesn't really change that. This should show you that the Flames are as vaunted as people like myself and @Drivesaitl said and that they are very beatable.
Both teams looked awful tonight. Markstrom was the worst part on his team and the Oilers was more of a team effort of suckage defense but they can play better.
They played like dogshit the whole game. Markstrom being a sieve and a couple of gifts by the Flames kept this from being a complete laugher. It was a full 60 minute non-effort by the Oilers tonight. How do you claw back just to go back to playing like dogshit i dont get it
since the start of the season?Nurse is still injured for sure
I don't get why this team plays injured players that are causing a ton of chances. Just f***ing bench them!
Ride or die with Smith. Oilers won’t hang em put to dry next game. Don’t need to talk about Skinner, it ain’t happening.Another silver lining. Koskinen has shown to be done, so Skinner should be next man up. If Smith looks shakey to start next game, Skinner will be in.

Kosk hasn't played in a couple weeks and has a better gaa than smith tonight. Not all on him.Another silver lining. Koskinen has shown to be done, so Skinner should be next man up. If Smith looks shakey to start next game, Skinner will be in.
And sadly he would still be a better option than the 2 losers played in this game.Skinner wasn’t good against Calgarys farm team last week.
Tying it 6-6 then giving up the 7th goal failing on your Pp and then immediately giving up the 8th probably deflated any good feelings they had about the second half of the game.Idk man it feels like a missed opportunity. Very rarely can you overcome 4 goal leads. Needed to strike while the iron is hot.

It's the playoffs. That will never happen. Guys will play with broken bones. It's the NHL not the NBAI don't get why this team plays injured players that are causing a ton of chances. Just f***ing bench them!
