He was QB on the Sharks second unit last year. And yes he is more of a trigger. However, his possession stats (5on5) indicate pretty good passing ability.

Marleau is overpaid by 1 million but he's good defensively and a good penalty killer. He's also durable.

Agreed. But vinny at almost half the cost Would be a steal even if you just got to 60 points. Which I do think he wod be capable get more he definitely has the higher end skill offensively

Except as you know, Marleau brings more to the table than Lecavalier and wouldn't be worth shelling out the money to buy out one year for paying Lecavalier 5 years, 25 million.
