Hamonic AGAIN has Sanderson wide open. Easy pass. But now. It’s a hard backbhand passed Sanderson and to a shark lol. Like the guy f***ing sucks ass

Opposing teams aren’t bothering to do anything else except skate tot he boards when we have the puck in the d zone

Brassard has the puck batherson and tkatchuk dress right beside him RIGHt BESIDe him through the neutral zone. Where does the puck go? High flick right to karlsson sharks regain and zip the puck the other way.

Star players have that quality to win the game. Tim doesn't have it. He had a clear cut chance to help Ottawa take over the game. And he didn't bury it. Again. He played well , but no one on this team can make THAT play to win a game

Lol, Tim was the only one who scored in the game,
How did Ottawa have a chance to take over game, they were always trailing.

When he walked Karlsson. This team can't score when it matters. They let SJ stick around when they should have been leading after the 1st. They do this in every game they lose. 2 on 1? Nope. Tim in all alone? nope. 2 on 0 amd DBC on his foeehand passes it to a PTO on his backhand? nope. Tkachuk drop pass to no one? Nope. Batherson drop pass to no one? Nope. Same shit every game.

I see a comparison there as well. Zib was always incredibly talented as a Sen but his work ethic/drive was questioned.

I see the same thing in Tim. I see more drive than Zib maybe, but he lacks a lot of attention to detail right now. He doesn't "look" like a winner. I'm hopeful given that Zib did figure it out. Maybe it's coaching.

Stars win games. They are winners. They don't pass up chance after chance to shoot. They don't give up on a backcheck if they want to win, like he did in both Florida games, the NJ game. Hell, every game. You can wait for Zbad to be a star, but it took years after getting traded for him to figure it out. And the Rangers still havent' won anything with a much deeper lineup.

Talent without drive is wasted. He is still a bargain this year. But next year, he better be ready to win. Be a winner.

Feels like Stuzle's going to be Ottawa's Yzerman, where it takes him a while to "learn how to win", but when he figures it out he'll be looked back on as one of the all time greats.

We have people complaining about a PPG 20 year old player. How the hell did we get here?

Stützle absolutely has to work on the details of his game. He's been careless at times for sure but I've also often seen him working harder on the back check than his more mature linemates Brady and Drake.

He's already n top offensive player at 20 years old. He'll figure out enough of the other stuff to be a star.

So much this!!!

The kid has drive galore and is understandably upset right now and his emotions are showing, perhaps to a fault.

He can be discouraged and that can sap energy BUT he generally competes hard and is learning tough lessons while being a PPG player and the only one able to make something out of nothing.

This is not the guy to get on for the team not playing well. He has lots of room to grow and will be a full 200ft monster for the majority of his career.

Hope you are right. And make no mistake, he will be great. But we cannot hide the fact that he has cost them a lot of games up to this point, either by his horrible defensive zone coverage and backcheck, or not scoring when he needed to. Or passing up shooting for setting up a tap in.

The overall point's taken, but Ottawa's Yzerman was Alfredsson. Took him a while to get it together, figured it out, enshrined in the Hall of Fame. Stutzle doesn't need to look to another franchise for inspiration when he's got a homegrown model right in his backyard.

Timmy like Alfredsson is one of our more passionate and competitive players on the team. Perhaps the most, and he actually has the skill level to lead his team to wins.

Much like Alfredsson I think he is trying to do way too much because he feels personally responsible for the teams failures.

I wish we had Alfie around to talk to these kids already.

Ya at this age Alfie wasn’t even drafted yet.

This is nonsense.

Stu isn't responsible for any loss. Teams win and lose together and more often than not Stu has been a very positive presence.

Why do people equate complaining about a player with "he sucks, he'll be a terrible player, I want him traded, etc."

There's nothing wrong with saying Stutzle is not playing well and needs to clean up some of the careless play and mistakes.

That would be fine complaining, Coladin roasted the player, like he is the only one responsible for the way we’re playing, it came off as petty.

Lmfao! Acting like a single player (or coach) is solely responsible for the way we're playing is what everyone does around here.

The fact is, there's lots of blame to go around, Stutzle included.
