And not Jersey Shore. Although I've spent some time there. And I never developed the stereotypical Joisey accent. Not sure I how I managed that!

I never got to watch any Star Wars until high school, there was still only three Star Wars movies then.

My friend's dad loaned me a DVD of the first Star Wars around that time, I tried it and just didn't get into it. I haven't seen any Star Wars movies since I tried that time. At this point, it's almost like a goal to not watch any at all until they're done making them altogether.

I want to like them so I can be included in these Star Wars mania events. However, I'm 35 years into life and haven't seen any Star Wars movies, so I feel like I'm pot committed to not being a Star Wars person by default.

I saw the first Star Wars movie and thought it was okay.

And that was the end of my Star Wars career.

Star Wars started before the internet, even before email for the most part. And not everyone even had a clunky answering machine.

I recall finishing college finals, but getting up early the next morning to get in line to see 3rd movie (Return of the Jedi). And saving place for friends to join.

Only movie I've ever seen on opening day.

Pot committed eh, interesting. I read comics (DC, Marvel), fantasy (LotR), and sci-fi (Dune, Foundation) in the 70s before the first SW film came out in 77. I thought the last SW film was horrible. If you adjust for inflation, none of the first six SW films are top twenty five all time. Population may have been a factor as most of these films are twenty first century releases. Adjusted for inflation, these are the highest grossing films of all time:

If I'm getting super detailed, I like dystopian-type movies and parallel universe stuff, which are usually Sci-Fi-ish. Stuff like V for Vendetta, Total Recall, or the TV show Fringe for the parallel stuff.
