Turns out I got my results today. I have iron-deficiency anemia.

Could have been worse I guess. At least it's treatable.

Not really something i'm glad I have because it can be dangerous, but it could always be worse. I'm lucky it's iron-related considering that's treatable

Just been sort of fatigued and more pale than usual. Thought I get checked out.

To treat iron deficiency you need to take in more iron. So i'll have to take iron supplements and increase the iron in my diet. Pretty simple haha. Once your iron load increases, your blood cell count will go back up, helping get rid of the anemia.

I'm lucky I have iron-deficiency anemia because I don't believe the other types of anemia are very treatable or curable

my mom had that when she was pregnant with me actually, this was before fears of FAS and iron pills, but he told her to drink a beer a day and eat liver a few times a week
