Dallas is still a disaster on the back end
They're okay, but Lehtonen is trash (that first goal by Santini stunk) and Bishop, unlike Cory, doesn't look like he's bounced back from his poor season last year. It's still early though, but it's not like he became meh upon arrival in Dallas. He wasn't as good as Vasilevskiy or very good at all on TB last year, and even though it was only like 8 games or whatever, he didn't even play as good with LA as Budaj did before they got him.

Of Course he was a Rag.
I liked him as a player even as a Rag. He was a great story being this giant guy that was a fighter/13th forward the first few years in the league, who worked his ass off to get quick enough so he could produce and play more minutes. It's obviously lead to a solid career for the guy.

The Boyle storyline is the most feel good story about this season. He almost seems like he's going for a career high in points.

I liked him back then too because he was and is a hard worker, no flash, no attitude, does the dirty stuff...not really the ranger M.O.

So happy for the guys. It wasn't pretty but what do you expect with all the injuries. The effort was impressive and to be able to bounce back and win on back to back nights and 3 in 4 is remarkable.

Who else wants a bottom 6 of..

Coleman-Zajac-Gibbons
Wood-Boyle-Noesen

Those lines will grind you to death!

Now rest up and let's hope for full health next week just in time for Rico's return

It's hard to watch Salvador today and remember how tough of a Defenseman he was.

Hats off to Zajac. 22 min of ice time and Jamie Benn doesn't get on the scoresheet

That Coleman - Zajac - Gibbons line has looked incredible. Zajac always does better with an energetic grinder type player on his line, Coleman is a perfect fit in that regard. They should stay together going forward as a bottom six shutdown line for sure. When we're healthy i'd like to see:

Hall - Hischier - Bratt
Johansson - Zacha - Palmieri
Coleman - Zajac - Gibbons
Wood - Boyle - Noesen
Stafford & Hayes as extra(s).

Hopefully Zacha can build on his last couple of performances and establish himself as a viable option at #2C.
