I would rather see this team in Quebec than in LI and being run like a bunch of monkeys. New arena be damned if we won't ever win anything or operate as a normal franchise.

Ive been telling people for months that there is some dynamic thats inspoken in the media in regards to Wang Ledecky Snow. It either involves promises to Wang to not erase his legacy of a terrific front office he built...or its actually in the sale agreement....either way for Ledecky to buy a team and not have any control over it other than trying to get a new arena basically it tells us Ledecky was just a bank loan for Wang to get cash...we dont know who the next owner will be...weill ledecky sell back to wang? SEEMS LIke isles are just a money investment. He didnt buy the team to make any changes the way derek jeter did. Jeter and wang both own about 20% of the team and they both seem rather involved in running things.

Would you categorize Snow’s tenure as a success?
He operated fairly well early on with the restricted budget he was given. This has been close to a max cap team for long enough that squeaking into the playoffs should not be viewed as an accomplishment.
Ledecky and Malkin are accomplished businessmen. You think they are going to allow a guy with a resume of success like Snow run the development of Belmont? Or do you think the person running that will actually know what he’s doing, and have done it before? And done it successfully?

L&M are alienating the small fan base they have. They are already 3rd string in a saturated market and they are intentionally sabotaging themselves. They deserve a brand new building with 3 K in it nightly with tons of empty retail surrounding it.

If the team actually had a real following the media would have been calling for Snow and clowns to be fired for the past 12 years. Botta and Jaffe did it and got fired, the only accountability the organization has is getting rid of qualified press members who tell the truth!

Fourth-worst regular season record since the start of Garth's tenure (BUF, PHX/ARI, EDM).

But he's not to blame for the mess he inherited? Okay, how about since the start of Tavares' career? Eighth-worst (TOR, COL, PHX/ARI, FLA, CAR, BUF, EDM).

This is a 30-, 31-team league. Hard to hide fourth-worst or eighth-worst in fancy talk.

After this Cup's awarded, there'll have been 180 playoff series played since the start of Garth's tenure. Divided by the number of teams in the league, the average team might have six series wins by now. Islanders have one.

If it's just playoff games played we want to look at, a measurable stat which rewards participation if not success, okay: we're 21st best (and as poor as 25th if any of COL, TOR, CLB or WPG have success this spring).

Fancy talk can't hide that mediocrity either.
