He was more than 2 weeks watched him here in Edmonton - had solid season protected players and played well in playoffs

Kostin made a mistake not taking less $ from the oilers where he had a defined role. He might be out of the league now after this deal. Some guys and their agents really struggle to see the big picture in this league.

He feels like a guy that should have been in the NHL 20-30 years ago.

Ok, he’s a solid 4th liner with size, toughness and and a plodding nature…who played 10:03 a night and shot nearly 20% in those 69 games.

I’m not saying you or other Oilers fans are wrong that he was good in his role…I do think many Oilers fans reacted over the top when he was let go and this season he’s basically been what he’s always been.
