Nah, I'm not. Granlund can't produce at the wing and you expect him to play CENTER? You're delusional.Okay. But you're wrong

Granlund has to prove he can be a top6 wing again, never mind a C. The game has moved on, and seems to have left him by the wayside. He gets a chance to prove people wrong next year, but i don't see any way in hell that someone pays him 5M/yr to do it.
Feel free to look at the upcoming UFA class. I think your over estimating it. Who's better than Granlund? Hall obviously, Hoffman probably. Dadanov and toffali maybe. Beyond that? Probably no one and none of the previous have any experience at C.Granlund has to prove he can be a top6 wing again, never mind a C. The game has moved on, and seems to have left him by the wayside. He is well into his second year of fatherhood, and made what, 6m/yr? That buys a hell of a Nanny. All sorts of players have kids and don't let it affect them. Granlund was bad in the month before we traded him, bad in the remainder of the year with NSH, then was bad all of this season. And that was at LW, his best position. He got to play with Duchene, and sometimes Johansen. Not exactly chopped liver.
Granlund hasn't earned much a of a contract, nor a spot in the top 6. We rant about Zuccarello not living up to his contract...MiG was worse. I think Haula could be had for cheaper, and is a better C.

@ThatGuy22 you could be right, but the cap is going to be tight. A smaller, slower guy who doesn't score and who's best position is LW can't be all that valuable.
Of the guys we traded, there is no doubt that Zoyle landed on their feet the best.
A guy whose career is going the wrong way is going to turn things around by changing to a position that he has already failed at? Makes sense
And for the people saying to just give him a ton of PP time. Which one of Fiala or Kaprizov comes off the top unit for Granlund to play those minutes?
Where do those 3 forwards play in your PP?Why would any of them have to?
Granlund, Fiala, Kaprizov, Suter, Spurgeon
Where do those 3 forwards play in your PP?
Where is Fiala playing?Overload setup with Kap down low and Granny on the boards looking to connect with Fiala.
Where is Fiala playing?
I know how to run a PP. Clearly, what you know was learned from NHL20. It was a pretty simple question though. If you know an overload setup, you should know where Fiala is playing.

"Kaprizov down low"If you know an overload setup, you should know where Fiala is playing.
no you didn't. And if you could, you would have by now.I answered it.
"Kaprizov down low"
"Granny on the boards"
"You should know where Fiala is playing"
You don't put your elite skill guys in front of the net for them to get hacked slashed and crosschecked into early retirement. You put them in a position to shoot.
Your idea of an overload PP setup is just terrible all around.
