True.

I think we should pump the breaks a bit on the Allen bashing. It's a preseason game and he's trying to find a rhythm.

He's played poorly, but this is reminiscent of last Nov thru Jan where the defensive system in front of him was ****. He's getting no help at all (not surprising from unstructured young prospects) and our special teams appear worse than last year. I'm not worried. There are some top ten goalies in the league right now that are sucking air right now.

Awesome shift by Blais. Great work in the corners on that shift! Throwing hits and creating turnovers.

Jeesus, 2nd goal was sloppiest thing you can ever seen by Allen. He was mentally like in the outside winter games. Sloppy and soft.

2nd goal was god awful. Sooooo sloppy

Again tho, it's the preseason. It's the first full game for Allen. I'm going to cut him some slack.

Anyone else going to be miffed if Bleh doesn't make this team? Additionally if Megan is sent down/sits over Thorburn/Bennett/sundquist? I'd even argue he's been better than Paajarvi. Jaskin is Jaskin.

IMO the most important part of our lineup is the bottom six. We have a great top six even more so when healthy. We need to have better production from lines 3 and 4 if we want to go deep this year.

Depending on Fabbri, I think it’s clear Megan/Blais make the team. I’d guess they both start opening night too, with Bennett/Thorburn sitting. Hell, I’d love to see one of the other kids make it over Bennett, who’s shown nothing.
