It's a flawed team, but the bullpen is coming together, and someone is finally doing something right, while Knebel and Familia are overpays, Bellatti and Nelson were "finds," Appel seems to found himself, Alvarado seems to be back on track, SD is back, Brogdon is another home grown arm, and Romero and Coonrod are on their way back from rehab.
I think Thomson's patience is paying off, Stott is getting more comfortable (BABIP of .218 says he's had some bad luck), Veirling is gradually working his way into respectability, Hall is showing promise as a LH platoon bat.
However, they have to fix Castellanos.
The one untouchable in the system, other than the young arms (Painter, Abel, Brown) should be Rojas - because they're going to be stuck with two of Schwarber, Castellanos and Harper in the corners - they need the next coming of Gary Maddox in CF, and Rojas may be that player.
