We better beat Detroit tomorrow because the Kings just sucked the life out of the Isles tonight and the Kings are a much better skating than we are and killed us at ES when we played them in LA…that’s not going to be an easy third game in four days….
I bet we will be ready for the kings next time. Last time their start was so impressive, they knocked us on our asses and we never got up. We’ll be more intense this time.

ERod has 9 pointless games in his last 10 at W. Hey, maybe it's time to realize he's not a good winger?

Next longest pointless streak of his was just 4 games playing C.
Maybe he’s not that good of a player?

At least we didn't get a Michigan scored against us.

Or sign Evander Kane. Seriously. Imagine a team ******* up so bad with the 2 best players in the league for the past 5 years that they have to resort to a Hail Mary of signing a literal piece of trash to salvage their season. While we’re complaining about an OT loss where we still moved up in the standings.

Hopefully, after their penalties, one of ZAR or Simon will sit. If you are pathetic offensively, you better not commit a costly penalty.

Get rid of these f***ing turds. We are always going to have injuries; these fools will continue to play while HFBoards continues spewing but but but we have injuries.

Can we try big Z again?

Sullivan sets the lineup in September and won’t make changes unless there are injuries. Im telling you, if hired a new coach, we’d have a good chance of winning the cup.

Nothing will fix a f***ed up lockerroom with zero morale or comradery like a team with a casino built into their arena signing arguably the biggest piece of shit headcase in the league who has a gambling addiction.

whoops…that crazy think called defense.

too high risk of a player for rewards at this point. Even when he’s scoring he’s still losing the game.

but it’s either the coaches or linemates fault.

Jarry is so tired of carrying this sad sack team around, look at him...look at this picture, look how drained he looks.

I made a comment back after the last cup regarding the which goalie they should keep. I wanted MAF for 2 glaring reasons.

First if they traded Murray at that moment, what they received in return could be helping this team in HUGE ways right now.

The other reason was when I looked at Murray, he did not look naturally as thin as he was at the time. I saw that as a sign his body would break down quickly over a short period of time. Looking at his picture, he looks like he's aging rapidly no living at his ideal weight.

Hopefully, Sleepy shreds the HFboard blank check for Erod’s extension.

I think it's crazy that they don't look at the top teams in the East and realize that they'll need 4 scoring lines to compete. Unless they some how create a 4th line like the Isles have, but I don't see that happening

I agree. If you are going to have a line incapable of scoring, they better at least physically dominate the play, lay some people out. This whole “leave them alone because they are good at possessing the puck,” bullshit needs to stop. Or, the whole but we won a bunch of games recently garbage needs to end. It’s a pathetic line that has no business continuing to play. It’s gone on for about two months too long. Injuries are always an issue for this team - the turds continue to play in every game.

This is why Sully should have been left in Canada after the Habs embarrassed us in the playoffs. Qualifying ZAR and signing Simon were inexcusable decisions by sleepy. Lazy, lazy decisions.

The Oilers are what would have happened to the Pens if they drafted Staal over MAF in 03 and said “**** it” and rode a tandem of JS Aubin and Sebastian Caron for a decade.

I'm no fan of Shero's overall tenure here, but for him to have completely outdone what Holland and Chia have done for McDavid and Drasiaitl--even considering for a huge portion of the Shero era Sid and Geno were flanked by the likes of Taylor Pyatt, Mike Comrie, Chuck Kobasew, Chris Bourque, etc.--speaks volumes of how badly that Edmonton organization's done at doing the absolute bare minimum for their generational talents.

I’ll say it as a season ticket holder. We’re better without #71.

You're almost never in the threads (I saw it one time) when he plays well and always in the threads when he makes mistakes. The haranguing that goes on by some people here after EVERY turnover is ridiculous. It's obvious most never watched guys like Lemieux and Jagr because they were the same. Players who have the puck a lot turn it over. What are we, 18-2? Geez.

Draisaitl is not a generational talent. More like an example of how many points a very good player can score if he's put in the ideal situation to put up points

Are you under the impression that the top teams in the East all have 12 forwards with significantly more scoring than we do?
