Going back to the patches. Where did the 2016 Stanley Cup patch go, along with the 50th Anniversary patch? Or was the 2016 champions never there?

They only wore 3 patches last year. 50th anny all year, nhl 100th after January 1st, '17 finals patch

teams never wear the SC Champions patch the next season. that's just something the shops do to try to sell more jerseys to fans.

Seems odd to me that a majority of the merch makes zero mention of back to back. It is almost difficult to find things that say that. Sucks that the designs all seem to be made well ahead of time and a random team name and logo get slapped on it. I was thinking by now we would see more new stuff commemorating the 2 in a row...

Anyway the bluray comes out tomorrow, mine already shipped from Amazon.

I ended up getting a 1/100 framed back to back collage thing on Fanatics last night. Has the team pics from 16 and 17, some melted ice, etc. For 20% off, I figured I would get something and I never got anything with the team photo last year, so this should do nicely. Also got the crystal stanley cup filled with melted ice. I got the same thing last year, so why not?

My biggest issue is no really nice fitted/flex fit hats. There are 2, one is trucker mesh in the back, the other is just a plain white hat. Neither says back to back, just 2017. Last year I got 3 different nice looking flex fit hats.

FWIW I prefer 47 Brand hats, specifically the Franchise line. the medium is a perfect fit for my head.

IF you are going to wear sports memorabilia, which i'm not for, a hat like that IS the only thing you should be wearing. It blows my mind when people wear Penguins polos and what not out on the town. You can separate style and fandom.
