I guess if there is a silver lining, it's Bergy getting to teach the kids a few things

I always want him to win, but I hope he is at least a finalist. If the only way guys can beat him is because he missed too many games, oh well. It'll be interesting to see if he gets a Selke nomination this year, I would assume not with Couturier, Barkov and Kopitar all having great years. Low 60s in games played is just too big of a gap to get votes IMO. I bet he finishes 4th though. It's a shame because he's been a beast when in the line-up as per usual.
I hope they’d sit Bergeron tonight, his line hasn’t been the same since he came back. I think his foot is still bothering him out there so I’d rather see him closer to 100% for the first round. Sit Marchand too.
Yeah, Cassidy spoke to them during the first intermission. They looked better after that. I'd rather see them play.I thought they started to get back to normal as the game went on. I think it's mostly just the timing with them.

For me, this is the exact reason to play them, even if they weren't fighting for 1st place tonight. Maybe you play them fewer minutes, but I think the 1st line and 1st D pairing need as much time as possible to get back to their standard of play going into the playoffs.

Bergy’s A Bruin for life.Evidently this year is the tenth anniversary of the charity Pro-Am hockey tournament that Bergeron and Gagne do every year. Looks like Bergeron talked Marchand into going this year. And it's going to be at the Videotron in Quebec City. Big venue for that type of event, it would seem...
I hope Bergy doesn't defect someday if Quebec ever gets a team.

I was just coming here to post this. Great article. Love some of the quotes.Well balanced article on our favorite player. We have been blessed since the 45th pick of the 2003 entry draft.
Why Boston Bruins star Patrice Bergeron is still underappreciated
