I have no doubt that we could have beat the pens. Especially without Malkin. Every year things set up so well for them. A crap flyers team in round one that they have owned, a choking caps team in round 2 that they have owned. I'd be willing to bet whichever team comes out of the Atlantic will be without some huge piece of their team from injury.
