Any word on Lazar maybe being returned to junior? I went to the game tonight. It was good but I'm salivating at the prospect of Curtis maybe returning for another year.
Doubtful at this point I would say, but Ottawa certainly has numerous bottom six winger options in the PB atm (Condra, Greening, etc) so there's still a shot I guess. The boys seem to be rolling fine without him though, just finished off MJ as I type this.Any word on Lazar maybe being returned to junior? I went to the game tonight. Lazar staying in Ottawa this year..
Great for him, he earned the job against some fierce competition. At least we'll have a reason to watch more Sens games.
Thought it might be good to make a list of Oil Kings alumni playing in the AHL & NHL - might be missing several names...
Mark Pysyk - Rochester Americans (BUF 2010 - 1/23)
Keegan Lowe - Charlotte Checkers (CAR 2011 - 3/73)
Travis Ewanyk - Oklahoma City Barons (EDM 2011 - 3/74)
Martin Gernat - Oklahoma City Barons (EDM 2011 - 5/122)
Griffin Reinhart - Bridgeport Sound Tigers (NYI 2012 - 1/4)
Henrik Samuelsson - Portland Pirates (ARZ 2012 - 1/27)
Mitch Moroz - Oklahoma City Barons (EDM 2012 - 2/32)
Curtis Lazar - Ottawa Senators (OTT 2013 - 1/17)
Cody Corbett - Lake Erie Monsters (COL Undrafted)
A friend came from the Portland area and says Samuelsson is struggling with the Pirates.
Oil Kings can't score on this road trip, straight up. They get tons of shots/chances/near misses but can't seem to find the handle on any of them.
Tonight's game is at 7 not 8. Reinhart is making his season debut also.
