It's done all through out minor league baseball, but for games. I understand why you can't do it for games at the NHL level, but kids probably still, and from the looks of it, loved just being at the practice.

Actually some NHL teams do it - that game we had at 2:00 in the afternoon back in December in Toronto was heavily marketed towards schools, IIRC.
