im guessing many talent lives around there because of the performance center in Orlando.
i dont care where it is. just hoping they bring it to canada again one of this days.
These major PPV’s, with the, what is now, 4-night runs, the cities they end up in bid on them and make themselves available. So, one of these cities in Canada is going to have to pay it forward, and because Canada is cold, limits themselves to Toronto and Vancouver (sorry, Olympic Stadium) with indoor stadiums. Vancouver isn’t a hot market, they never do TV there, and Toronto, I guess needs a new SkyDome? So, that’s kind of your options. And they also have to deal with the Blue Jays.
I’m with John Cena in that I wish they’d do one in London.
But it’s not so much that Vince is content ‘rotating to the same cities.’ The city steps up and schmoozes Vince to convince him to come.
If you’re a fan in one of these other cities who isn’t sure they’ll ever see the event (again), something you might want to go to your city council about. Find out if your city is even trying to get it. Over the past 10 years or so is when the event became such a boon for the city because of how many people it draws, and it’s drawing in other promotions as well.
