Sabres are affiliated with Cincy. Was announced a couple of weeks ago.

didn't Calgary and Stockton jump from Adirondack to Kansas City, JW, AND I believe that's a multi-year deal....

might as well add Portland to that list also, because of today's acquisition/approval by Comcast Spectacor, and the ECHL confirming the transfer of Alaska, for 2018/19, which will eliminate another affiliation/working agreement

The link in the above tweet re: Rapid City/Minnesota specifically mentions the deal being "for the 2017-18 season", so I'll take that as confirmation of a one-season deal.

Wichita to announce new affiliate at 3pm Central time. According to the teams twitter page the new ECHL divisional alignment is to come out today as well.

Just a thought here...once all the affiliations are announced how about the mods lock this thread and you start a new one with the list in the first post. This way we won't be scrolling to find post #430 if we need to see it.

Although I guess this only works if the mods allow it. :D

I've got no problem with it - in case I miss the last affiliation if either you or Jackets would PM me, I'll close this one

make sure that when the new list comes out that Portland has to be listed, TIA.

I know I'm going to regret asking this, but why would Portland be on a 2017-18 affiliation list when they don't start play until 2018-19?

Worcester wasn't added to the affiliation listing until 10-ish weeks ago, so there's no reason to add Portland until they actually have an affiliation.

Don't say anything at all
I hope Worcester hooks up with Boston, Cincinnati with Columbus and Allen with Dallas in the future. Kansas City is looking to move up to the AHL as the new Blues affiliate in that league. Brampton should eventually hook up with Toronto too. Maybe 2 of the Florida ECHL teams can hook up with the state's NHL teams.

I'm all for ECHL and AHL teams hooking up with local NHL teams. I'd really love to see the Wolves join up with the Blackhawks too.

While nothing is impossible, there is virtually no chance Worcester affiliates with Boston.
