He is tied for 44th in the league for 5v5points (4th on the team)
Above players like... Maroon, Eberle, Seguin, Horvat, Kessel, O'Reilly, Skinner, Johansen, Pastrnak, Williams, Nash, Oshie, Backstrom.

He is having a good season offensively.

The better the team plays as a team the better he plays.
He's producing well with Hopkins and Hopkins seems to be better this year which is big.

How can you possibly know that he isnt a leader?

Played well last night.
Still mostly a perimeter player, still some dumb passes but better, no question.
The major issue has always been that contract.

50+ points and his physical presence make him a 6 million dollar player.

It’s the length of the contract that should be concerning, not the dollar amount. Lots of miles on his body.

My biggest problem with Lucic this year has been defensive breakouts and penalties. If his name was Pouliot he would have been ran out of town by the media this year for penalties taken.

his 5x5 offense has bounced back which is great to see. He isn't a worry this year, he is a worry in year 5/6/7.
