Here's another London/Sarnia fun fact:

Dylan Hunter got the nickname 'Poochie' at the Knights @ Sarnia game December 31st 2004.

The inspiration for the nickname came from the Poochie character on The Simpsons... Dylan needed to be meaner, angrier, and have access to a time machine. Also, when the Knights were in the defensive zone everyone was saying "Where's Poochie?"

Thanks to @crowncarrier for the pic 😃

If ever there is a current GM who has a track record of turning over every stone to find talent, it's Mark Hunter. Maybe not another Julien, but someone else who can develop and contribute in other ways.

Before that with about 0.1 seconds remaining in regulation, Marchand almost ended Ekblad's season. That wouldn't have been the first time Ekblad was bounced from the playoffs with 0.1 s showing on the clock.

I'm kinda hoping that Sarnia mayor Mike Bradley puts in an appearance at Bud Gardens to take in a game. He'd be a great candidate for that celebrity look-alike feature they run on the scoreboard. As he has aged, he has taken a remarkable resemblance to Trump supporter Steve Bannon.

I'm not pulling a PP, but I'd take Sarnia if my home n retirement package were on the line. 6 games Sarnis ( who knows could be 5 or 7) but obviously hoping I'm wrong. ) DelM is the difference for me but ya know Hunter will have all Fs looking to attack him every time the puck is on his stick. Kyrou going to Kyrou but DM is yhe rock n key.
Just going to take 4 games where they play a near perfect game, be opportunistic n take adv of opportunities, but easier said than done. .
Keeping games tied or getting up early will be key. Stick to the plan regardless of any single game situation. Hopefully the Sting players pay attention to the the hype present in their hometown n try n do too much. And stray from a gameplan.

Last time I'm coming on this thread until it's all done. Haha.

Wish you guys the best! Hope it can be a clean, well officiated, fantastic series. 🫡🍻

Well we know officiating won't be A1 lol, but it shouldn't be an excuse on either side. Is what it is. Both teams gotta play thru it n control what you can. Enjoy the Sting beer special brew n enjoy the ride.
