Nooooooo! He likes the Big Bang Theory? Ughhh and he was showing so much potential
Good test. Hopefully we can play like we did against Pittsburgh and not like against the Flames.
I'm disappointed in his choice of movie? the LION KING?! Seriously?! for shame, Morgan, for everlovinglasting shame.
okay - though I don't think I can match the sheer awesome of sopranos post
1: considering that we only play in vancouver once a year, it's easy to go "OMG we haven't won there in like, 10 years!" well yeah but if you play there only once, and just happen to lose - then what? it's sort of like looking at our S/G, SA/G lmao if you LOOK at it without seeing the record - it looks HORRENDOUS.
2: the leafs do have the tendency to play up/play down to the oppenent. I don't know why - but we do. so i personally feel that we're going to kick severe butt. for the life of me i dont understand why everyone instantly expects a loss. NOO! expect a WIN. even if we were a team of poo flinging monkeys: EXPECT. THE. WIN.
3: that's it.
Last time the Leafs won in Vancouver was November 22, 2003. Ed Belfour was the winning goalie, Dan Cloutier was in goal for the Canucks. That was also the night where the first ever heritage classic occurred between the Montreal Canadiens and the Edmonton Oilers.

and before last night we hadn't won in Calgary since 2002! it's ALL GOOD!
The 10 year stat is meaningless anyway because there were 3 seasons there that the Leafs did not play in Vancouver at all. 06-07, 07-08, and of course the lockout shortened season that we just had earlier this year. You might even say 4 seasons, if you want to count the wiped out 04-05 season.
which makes it even better
I'm not worried. we're going to win. the Leafs will not let me down.
Yup. Time to get that bad blood boiling again Bolland.
It isn't just some reason we have to wonder... it's a real easy thing psychologically to understand. Opponents like edmonton (young soft team with tender plays) and calgary (young fresh team that has outkasted players who didn't become men in toronto)... we are a very manly team. Real men play here. They look the part. Even on the bench. Opposite the team like edmonton... they have people who are still (finding themselves as human beings...) Searching for themselves as players and as in human beings and sexual beings. We got players like Orr, McLaren, Clarkson and Bolland... come on. These are men playing this fun sport. Just putting that puck and body where it needs to be. Having fun and enjoying the action in this sport.
To me its not surprising at all that we have that certain type of layd back game against edmonton and calgary. These Men now that we just have to be there against these young fools who still search the meaning of life and we still got a chance to win even with just standing around and looking. We're that good and hard. Edmonton's young players just run around and look for themselves. Orr and Mclaren already know who they are.
Then comes the game against Penguins. That team has won the cup and is a winner team. We show up and want to compete. They got speed and skill so our players be like... we gotta hit that sucker hard and collect that ****. Handle that **** there. Against characters and tough teams our team is more ready. Against edmonton and calgary and florida our team is like.... I might just keep this beard and not even shave it. Look at those young guys... they still drink milk. I am not surprised at all. We got a real hard ass team led by the biggest hard ass of them all. You got to understand that it was a long time coming.... now we have a real men's team again. I'm really proud and glad of that there.
Remember when we had Mats night and we got smoked 5-0 to the Habs. They might be pumped but at the same time the pressure is pretty high. If we score a quick one, might keep the crowd quite (albeit half of it). It's Pavel Bure night. They will be pumped. But then Kessel will go Pavel Bure on them and snipe a couple past Roberto.
Does Vancouver start with a "C"
No but the Canucks does.
Does that count?
