That line has played well. I haven't noticed Wright at all tonight, it's Pretournament but for a potential number 1 overall he's been invisible.

Being outshined by both of the '23 top prospects in this game in my opinion. And I think that says something because Bedard has barely played.

Good shift by Cole. Nice zone entry and strong move to the net. Good hounding if pucks in both zones to keep the play alive. He's coming into this game more as it is going on.

I don't know if I've ever seen a player so consistently knock pucks down in the air as Perfetti does, at least not a forward.

So, controversial proposal: the Jets push Cole to gain ~100lbs of weight and become the greatest net front presence ever.

Ya... lets turn him into this guy...

How about 40 lbs... and he keeps his 200 ft quickness... ?

Not really sure I understand these KC comparisons with Kent Johnson. KC scored 35 goals in 38 games. Johnson has 13 goals in 43 games.

I wonder if Michkov will fall in the draft if it's not likely he'll make the NHL until 2026.

A bit different in terms of ages when they did it though. Conner was in the USHL at the same age as Johnson is now.

Pretty entertaining game. Russia took a bit longer to shake off the rust but I'm not sure the game is close with even slightly better goaltending for Canada.

Torgersson and Sweden play in about 30 minutes in an untelevised game in Red Deer.
