Most forwards didn’t have the legs to get back, D got swamped and Dave with them..Every team that has better conditioning or younger legs is gonna give us fits..
We could also use a confidence boost against the Ducks..

Don't know why I didn't see Axel Fjalby in the lineup, as he hustles hard, and looked very good the last couple of games. It seems like the Jets lacked intensity, and were not able to click on their passes. They had no rhythm tonight, and could not get anything going. Deserved to lose this one, and I hope they learn not to take opponents lightly.

Feel bad for Rittich. I have next to zero faith in him up front. Laine is a sniper, his goals would have gone in on better goalies. Bad luck on third. Not really on him, IMO.

Jets believed their own press coming in after the Avs win. Kind of obvious they took Columbus lightly. If anyone called it a trap game in the GDT ahead of time you were vindicated.

Utterly foolish to underestimate Laine, ankle injury or not. Kid moved well, found his spaces and the Jackets found him. Fortunate he didn't score a hatty. You may not love him, but you have to respect him. Jets did not to their folly. Laine and Roslovic played with a chip and it showed; Jets assumed they were an easy mark. Jets were wrong.

Security was hyped tonight after the debacle at the Avs game. Good for them. Drunk woman in 103, probably a bazillion times less risky than the individual at the Avs game was escorted from my section. Obnoxious? Yes. A danger like our Avs friend? Likely not. Still, the right decision.

Was just gonna ask you where the Grinch avatar was at. Glad to see made the change. Hope the next game you attend is better to you.

Losing Laine still stings. He’s objectively a better player than PLD but I get that we needed another C and had enough talent on the wings. Just have to hope he signs long term.

That’s fair. But I just think giving no effort in front of the fans that pay for their contracts (in a game that means a lot to the fans with Laine’s return) is not acceptable whatsoever.

Like I said, they’ve played real well as of late, so it’s tough to be too hard on them, but they have to at least show up. They did not tonight.

Flush it and get back to the team we saw against Colorado.

This was definitely a stinker. I don’t get to many games. I was there tonight. Picked the wrong game I guess. Nothing seemed to work! Someone else said that the Jets couldn’t find a rhythm. That was what it looked like to me as well. This did not look like the team that played the last two games! Where did those guys go, and how do we get them back?

Personally, I think the guys just didn't feel the need to put in the effort tonight -
We would have rolled over that team if they played anything close to the game they played in the previous two.
Still a bit of learning to do - the game plan is not yet entrenched - and they underestimated a team tonight (and over estimated their ability to win without the effort).
