yup, bench a guy who gives it all on the ice.Don't know why I didn't see Axel Fjalby in the lineup, as he hustles hard, and looked very good the last couple of games. It seems like the Jets lacked intensity, and were not able to click on their passes. They had no rhythm tonight, and could not get anything going. Deserved to lose this one, and I hope they learn not to take opponents lightly.
stanley is injured and samberg has proven he is better...Put in Stanley for samburg . At least he will throw a hit and has a good shot.
Yep don’t know why they messsed with a winning line up by adding Gagner.Don't know why I didn't see Axel Fjalby in the lineup, as he hustles hard, and looked very good the last couple of games. Yeah, when it was over...Was there a single part of the game that was good?
Korpisalo? He was good. They had the better goalie, and they got the victory. It's that simple. Terrible effort by the guys tonight.
He had scored on the Jets before…..when he played for the Jets, celebrated the goal and all….dude actually didn’t realize he had scored on his own net!I believe Patrik has scored on every team in the league now
Good on him
On to the next one
I agree, Gagne hasn't looked that good lately, and Axel has. I'm sure we'll see Fjalby in next game, and hopefully Gagne out. As you say, why mess with a winning lineup.Yep don’t know why they messsed with a winning line up by adding Gagner.
Was just gonna ask you where the Grinch avatar was at. Glad to see made the change. Hope the next game you attend is better to you.At the game tonight, random thoughts.
Feel bad for Rittich. I have next to zero faith in him up front. Laine is a sniper, his goals would have gone in on better goalies. Bad luck on third. Not really on him, IMO.
Jets believed their own press coming in after the Avs win. Kind of obvious they took Columbus lightly. If anyone called it a trap game in the GDT ahead of time you were vindicated.
Utterly foolish to underestimate Laine, ankle injury or not. Kid moved well, found his spaces and the Jackets found him. Fortunate he didn't score a hatty. You may not love him, but you have to respect him. Jets did not to their folly. Laine and Roslovic played with a chip and it showed; Jets assumed they were an easy mark. Jets were wrong.
Security was hyped tonight after the debacle at the Avs game. Good for them. Drunk woman in 103, probably a bazillion times less risky than the individual at the Avs game was escorted from my section. Obnoxious? Yes. A danger like our Avs friend? Likely not. Still, the right decision.
Disappointing, upsetting yes, I don’t know about disrespectful. Can’t be too mad considering the wins they’ve pulled together lately but tonight’s performance was just disrespectful to their fans. Shame on the team
That’s fair. But I just think giving no effort in front of the fans that pay for their contracts (in a game that means a lot to the fans with Laine’s return) is not acceptable whatsoever.Disappointing, upsetting yes, I don’t know about disrespectful.
This was a perfect night to show case Laine -I really do miss Laine.
Personally, I think the guys just didn't feel the need to put in the effort tonight -Most forwards didn’t have the legs to get back, D got swamped and Dave with them..Every team that has better conditioning or younger legs is gonna give us fits..
We could also use a confidence boost against the Ducks..
It’s time to fish or cut bait..
