They are adding the patches to the jersey starting TONIGHT. I assumed it was an announcement for next year... but I guess now that I think about it this would be a silly time to announce it if not immediate

I could see them leaning into the Carhartt thing as a Michigan company that they have had a very good in-stadium relationship with for a while. I think the only broadcasted nod to Carhartt is Mickey's flannels in pre and post game.

The color doesn't really work, but perhaps they can do a white out or a outline only logo.
