Kyle Jenkins was traded from the Soo to Peterborough today which is a bit of a shame, since the Greyhounds are going for it this year.

What're your guys thoughts on Jenkins ETA to the pro ranks? He will be back next season with Peterborough for sure but should we expect him back for an OA season? I ask because I have no knowledge over your organizational depth for defenseman.

I see that some of you guys are bummed about Jenkins not being apart of the Greyhounds as they make a cup run but I think for Jenkins this is going to be a great move for his development. Nothing major to note. Disappointing WJC in Fleury not being there, but Tolchinsky and Wallmark both had very strong showings. Slavin has rounded back into form with CC, Biega is starting to show signs of life, and Pesce keeps on doing his thing.

Dave - Tyler Ganly has quietly been climbing the ladder in my opinion as well...showing a little more offense and still staying sound in his own end. I know the Soo is a very good team but still, he's doing quite well.

Would love to see it happen... that said only way he's coming back is on a one-way deal. He makes the team we're fine, he doesn't and we probably have a guy in the AHL making about a million per.

At some point we have to describe Fleury's season as massively disappointing. The three zone game hasn't been there and a player of his draft position missing the WJC isn't a great sign either.

to be fair, Canada's selection camp was essentially a day time soap opera.

He went from "top pair" to "cut" inside 24 hours.

It's really crazy watching him play for the Rebels, then seeing him go to Team Canada camp and return to that smooth, puck carrying, willing to jump style of play. I don't know what the **** is going on but he seems so different playing outside of Red Deer.

Missing the WJC has 0 relevance. Hicketts and Heatherington are not better prospects than Fleury and Sanheim.

I hope we get to see some prospects from Charlotte in the last games. Now with both Sekera and Tlusty gone, plus maybe McClement, Dwyer if they are traded away, there will be some spots open in the lineup.

Someone like Rissanen (I know he's injured right now) would be fun to see. Maybe give McGinn a couple of games. Anyone else?
