How many times are they going to let the devils just grab the back of a jersey.

Why the **** did Q use a timeout now with the game decided and not when the Devils scored 5 goals in a single period such a joke when it was clear the devils needed to have their momentum stopped but im glad we can set up a hail mary play that literally never works

Also age curve for Seabrook is a cliff not an arc. Sucks to hang one on Crawford with the season he’s has but he was not good tonight.

Well Rutta now on for 9 of the scoring events total...4 for us 5 for them

it's not his fault that Crawford tonight didnt make any extra saves and was pulled after 2nd...also new to the NHL Rutta was not signed as top pairing r-dman, there are two other multimillion guys for this job.

Q should have used a time out when the Devils tied it but instead we got to see a pathetic low chance play to tie it in the dying minute with a devils win basically assured. Just horrid game management by Q, but with DeBrincat playing with Bouma I cant even be surprised sadly. This game should have been an easy win

Thoughts.

Good
- Kids showed up again
- Forsling, Schmaltz, and Cat played well
- Kane better
- AA line looks to be gelling

Bad
- Crow had a rough night (it happens)
- Q is mind bogglingly bad at this point at coaching (more on this later but his choices are fireable at this point)
- Toews was terrible and until he adds some risk and creativity back to his game he will not get back to what he was (it is not physical it is mental)
- Seabrook is not even trying and just needs to sit.
- Saad seems snake bitten

Agreed on all. One positive was scoring on 2 pp You forgot Sharp being bad again. You forget that Panik can do nothing of late. You forgot that Murphy is worthless. Forsberg also looks bad.

8-15-88 looks like it could be a solid line. Toews' line, on the other hand, was getting manhandled every shift. All they do is lose board battles and are stuck in the perimeter in the rare event that they do have the puck

I am not forgetting them.

Panik's production is tied to Saad and Toews. He does not and shouldn't be the one to drive that line. He is making the right plays and playing hard so there is not an issue there.

Sharp was meh but he is a vet minimum guy on the 4th line?

You are wrong about Murphy. He steps up when he should, can skate the puck, has a good first pas, has solid gap play, and is positionally fine in his zone. He fits the new NHL but not Q's outdated system. It is an absolute joke that Kemeny and Murphy are not playing more. Pairings are obvious but Q refuses or doesn't see them.

2-5
42-44
6-11 (Kemeny's speed covers for Franson's lack of speed)

Other than him not being able to hold on to his stick, what was your issue with Forsberg? That goal was not weak and our D let Wood just ram it home. They must physically engage him there. He looks bad? Explain.

CC bad tonoght.

Toews -2 Kane -2 Saad -2 Keith -1 ...The key stars all negative contributors ...this is a lot of cap $$$$ for poir ROI tonight ...

Outplayed by Kincaid...Hischier Woods ...not exactly big bucks stars (so if they keep tjis up) ...

BUT the point is ad always...when your big $$$$ guys are puking like this...trouble is certain.

I know...Toews had efgortv9ffensively. ..6 shots on goal of which at least 4 were grade A quality scoring chances..but he fails...again ..cannot Finnish. . $10.5 ....Defensively sone of his checking shifts were awful and contributed to ultimate NJ goals.. $10.5 guys shoukd be helping more offensively and in goal prevention ...Again other fail to finish glorious chances too..Either missing the net (how many times Seabrook from the.point shot not getting on net?) or hitting post (Sharp) or Kincaid makes point blank save...a cornucopia of Fail ..
We could should scored at least 5 more goals with better finishing..but alas we make Mules Woods into a n example of how easy it bis to finish off chances ...This seems to hapoen often..Our big guns fail way too much..and obscure kids we make look like all-stars...The currently cheap beat the big bucks "stars" the Hawks allegedly are paying to star...exceot that they keep failing to star ...yeah! !!

And they played fine in those games. You may think comparatively well, but that's not really the benchmark.

But you act like you called their demise, when they both had decent production at least a season longer than you predicted (and Hoss might've still had something left in the tank if not for his allergy issues).

So I was one season early on their demise, which I stated already. Again, better to recognize it a season early rather than a season too late.

My god Keith looked almost as bad as Seabrook tonight. 7 Defenseman dressed and we put up probably our worst preformance in the Kane-Toews era

Q and his unbridled love for stumps is beyond old.
