In 2007, Patrick Kane was selected 1st overall by the Chicago Blackhawks. A decade later, Nico Hischier was selected 1st overall by the New Jersey Devils in the most recent draft (you know, the one that we held).

Tonight, these two go head-to-head for the very first time.

Who will win? Hopefully not the Devil.
You look like a Devil
Walk like a Devil
Talk like a Devil
But I got wise
You're the devil, Hischier
Oh yes you are
The devil, Hischier

It is shocking and hilarious that the Devils, with that blue line - probably the worst in the league by raw talent - suppress shots better than the Blackhawks.

I hope Rob Schneider is not going to be as fast as he was in one of his movies. Otherwise, I have a bad feeling for the result.

It's time to have a serious conversation about how piss poor Q is at developing players. We're now at the point where Q is playing Bouma over Hartman? He can't get more out of a kid that scored 19 goals in his rookie season than a 4th line plug with no upside? Q has also failed to develop Schmaltz at the center position. It's ridiculous at this point. Because his inability to develop Hartman and Schmaltz has resulted in a ripple effect that has forced DeBrincat to play on the 4th line.

If Q could develop players properly then DeBrincat would have a top 6 role. Schmaltz would be 2C, which opens the role at 2LW. Again, it's a ripple effect.

What the lines should really be at this point..

Saad-Toews-Panik
DeBrincat-Schmaltz-Kane
Sharp-Anisimov-Hartman

Al still looks mean as hell. A few years ago i met one of his ex girl friends. Lot's of memories.

Will never forget those 4 goals in under 8 minutes.

Nice thing with Secord on the one more shift thing. Loved that guy in the 80’s.

I wish Seabrook was the next “one more shift” guy. Be nice to see that in the next homestand......
