Message deserves to be sent to Gus. Sucks to see the Seabrook tantrum lead to Maatta getting demoted to the third pair...De Haan proved he can play the right side so a pair with Maatta could be a nice shutdown pair

I think it is more of evening out the pairings and less of a demotion.

Good. As predicted Gus is likely sitting tomorrow. De Haan is faster than Maatta so that's going to be interesting seeing him cover Seabrook (same for Maatta playing with a faster D partner in Koekkoek).

I had a similar idea for a game, maybe pre-season, after Sharpie came back. Was gonna write it all with a sharpie, but I didn't have a good way of scanning the picture either. I'm pretty sure my printer could've done it if it had to, but that thing is always a bitch to have to deal with and I didn't wanna fuss with it for a half hour.

Edit: This idea morphed into this thread: GDT: - Preseason Game 2 Hawks Vs Wings: Sep21 @ 7:30PM Central-WGN, NHLN-US-- Sharpie! , which was a much crappier and easier way of doing it.

Klingberg - Gus - struggling

Benn - Toews - just bad

Seguin - Kane - doing ok, but they have more to give

Radulov - Cat - both guys can be doing more as well..not bad but not great either..

hard to win when both teams have similar problems to their top 4-5 offensive talents..

Like the forward lines a lot actually. I wanted to see if that first line can work, Nylander is like a mini Hossa these few games.

Also Maatta was pretty good on his off side imo.
