if they bring him up and sit him against the Kings, by all means fire JC and Bowman...that would be one of the dumbest things they could possibly do..

I honestly am hoping for the opposite. I want to see Gus and Boqvist out there..I want one of them to man pp1 and the other pp2..that would keep Keith off the power play period..it also might spark Gus who looks like the weight of the world is on his shoulders. I agree Gus has looked like shit, but this team goes nowhere if he can't get going as expecting Boqvist to carry that offensive load alone is just too much.

I would sit any of Seabs, 4K or Gilbert..and I am not upset with 4K or Gilbert at all...would rather see if this can spark Gus and ease some pressure off of him..give it 2-3 games and if Gus still looks like shit, then yeah bench his ass too.

Gus can absolutely play afterwards. I completely agree with you that I want both of them in because it finally gives the Hawks 2 legitimate guys on the backend who can create offense. But for tomorrow's game only (and the Kings aren't very good anyways) Gus can absolutely see the game from the press box. I can see Colliton benching Koekkoek or Gilbert instead but neither guy deserves it like Gustafsson does right now. Hopefully if it is Gus, then he wakes up and plays well from here on out.

I think it generally works out to where he only wouldn’t have a chance to get a regular season game in if his team makes the national championship. Denver has a pretty good shot this year so we’ll see
