Hahaha this.

he was crying cause he had to sell his house to afford a ticket to the gameMaybe the grown man that was crying can show them a good place to drink, since he will be drowning his sorrows at a bar rather soon.
How about that stretch on Perry at one point, you don't count that as a gamesaver?Lehtonen did not have gamesavers today.
Minnesota Wild fans just had a heart murmur.
I have cried plenty, but never over a round-robin hockey game.
I don't understand the poor sportsmanship. I've yet to see a Canadian poster angry at the other team after a loss, so why be angry yourself?
And his car. Poor guy.he was crying cause he had to sell his house to afford a ticket to the game

Lots of tough guys in this thread who have never cried...
We take hockey very seriously here. It is the #1 sport here after all.
We are more or less upset to lose after leading 3-1, but to be honest, a bunch of KHL/Elitserien/SM-liiga players to lose against quality NHL's is not a real surprise.
To sum it up:
Ward > Lehtonen today. Lehtonen did not have gamesavers today. He did not have a bad game, the Canadian goals were hard to any goaltender. D's fault. It happens. It doesn't mean we would have won with Vehanen either today. These things happen.
Finns lost because of Komarov.
And his car. Poor guy.
Ah, yes I forgot that oneHow about that stretch on Perry at one point, you don't count that as a gamesaver?
Good game guys. You should be proud of your team. They played well today...just not as good as Canada today. I'm sure you'll have another chance to redeem yourselves.
You have to love the Finns. Anytime you have a country that is that united in backing its hockey team, you have to tip your hat to them.
Have some drinks tonight, and I promise you guys, it won't seem that bad tomorrow.
This is what you get when y but talent versus soft eu players. anyway I'm pretty sure that Finland will get higher position in this tournament than Canada.... what motivates Canada win this tournament? They got more Pus## back home?

For a hockey game, no. But I did shed a tear when they closed the Forum and gave the Rocket a 15 minute ovation.
Beer is never too expensive.
