Will be close. Team with better goaltending will win this.

One goal difference either way.

4-2 Canada. but I don't know if they were partying yesterday or not, so take that with a grain of salt.

Finland has always played us tough, should be a good game today. I think we win 3 to 2 in overtime.

Getzlaf is so pissed of at Finnish media that he will hit everything and all the time on the ice.

Canada is kryptonite for Finland so this will be difficult game for us.

This is the game where Canada wakes up.

It's too bad this match collides with Sweden - Russia. I would've liked to have seen this one as well.

In the words of Eric Cantona, "Who wins ? I don't know"

Of course you tough hard working "good ol canadian boys" will win this one :)
Of course I hope not..........BUT...........I give this one to Soumi.
Canada has Kazakhstan left to make the quarters.
Maybe an experimental game today to try a few things and lines that may or may not work out.
Just a feeling

Well, we don't even know if Canada will make it from the bar in time... Kidding aside, I think it will be a close game: if I could only bet one scoreline it would be 2-2. We have the edge on goal tending, we are almost level on big ice in the offence but we do have a somewhat shaky defence (which might suffer from "our game" style of slow starts for attacks). I think it'll be a good, close game!

Canada is such a difficult opponent for us always, no matter how badly they had played in earlier games. I believe we will see alot of goals, alot of speed, alot of goal scoring opportunities and awesome hockey. I have a feeling that Canada will win with 1-2 goals. I hope finnish players will not respect canadians TOO MUCH.

This is the evening's theme

That's a funny picture! But you have to remember that it's a cold and empty land - almost all live like a mile from the US border and only inuits and polar bears are found north of Windsor, Ontario...

Same goes for Finland in a smaller scale: only reindeers and Sámi-people are found north of Oulu. ;)

Like there is anything outside of ring III.

Well, well now. I'm actually from Southern Ostrobothnia, so it's pretty equal to me whether one is from Ulan Bator or Espoo or New York, it's all the same: some non-proper unimportant places not within 100km from Lakeuden Risti!

I think this is a make or break game for Canada. Either they get on track here, and actually play properly, or they will be knockout round fodder. Anyway, I'm thinking something like 4-3 Finland here.
