Extremely unimpressed with Grigorenko...and that's not a reflection of my avatar as I believe we're more likely to pick 2cd or at least top 5 and not 1st overall.

I'm really not liking his game and I'm trying to. He stands around a lot, he skates VERY slowly...he just doesn't look like much of a factor at all. He looks like didn't get any sleep before this game.

These Russian games are so nice to watch.

Last nights game and this one are so good.
Russia can really throw that puck around when they want to.

And Slovakia is no slouch. They have some great talent.

Jurco is venturing into Ovechkin numbers in terms of shots in this game.

Really? I thought they were really struggling tonight for the most part.

Tvrdon on for the powerplay with Jurco. Sorry, that is Mraz. 12 looked like 17.

Good effort for Slovakia. Heads up boys. Simboch, Marincin, Gernat, Janosik, Cajkovsky, Jurco, Matousek, you were great. Now go into the games versus Sweden and more importantly Switzerland with some confidence.

Credit to the Slovaks, good work will be a crazy match with Switzerland for 3rd place.

Russia needs some improving going forward too many times the pass is too late, too early, too heavy, too soft :shakehead

Tough game. But a win is a win.

A couple of lines are still looking out of sync for Russia.

Kuznetsov-Apalkov-Barbashev line isn't working well together at all.

Yea Slovakia hung in there. Which i thought they would. Jurco got a little too individual there and they need Tvrdon going.

I think Kosov would look good instead of Barbashev.
