Double post but Russia was not good against switzerland, didn't they even outshoot Russia? Russia disappointed me, with that game they played they wont be even close to final.

You should always remember it's just a round robin and most of the favourites aren't displaying their full potential.

Pretty damn much, this is not a long tournament. See what happened in when Finland lost to Canada? all faith is gone and everybody expects USA to blow out Finland, Switzerland was better than Russia throughout the game but Russia scored the goals. Maybe they just wanted to be defensive and let their goalie be warm or they were just that bad to give Switzerland some huge chances to score. If they play the same, Slovaks have a chance in this because IMO there are better goal scorers in team Slovakia.

No they weren't good (by their standard which is "champions").
Do you Really think that Russia would be at it's peak in their 1st game? Every game they'll get better and better, that's what happens with Russian team every year (unless Plyushev is running it).

If they play the same this game, than that would be the first signs that Bragin is failing to set up this team. But that happening is about as accurate as the prediction of Switzerland shutting out Russia 2:0..

Expect Yakupov to give 200% today. Apparently, he was pretty uspet with his performance the 1st game.. Also in a mini-fan battle, Grigo played better, at least points wise..

Slovakia will be a harder test than Switzerland were and Russia only just managed to get a 3-0 win, which is disappointing if you ask me. 4-2 Russia in my opinion.

I sincerely doubt it, Switzerland actually has more offensive firepower than Slovakia.
