MacK could honestly win the Rocket trophy this year too, he's only 4 goals behind Ovi!!

Missed the entire game, how did Kammy and EJ look??

Avs should stop selling tickets to opposition fans at Pepsi Center like some teams do

Especially Chicago fans. No way I'm going yo another Chicago vs Colorado game in Denver. It's awful experience. f***ing hated it.. 80% Chicago fans and it was Coloradoa home game!!!

Embarrassing. That's all.

I know it's WAY too early to even think about this but damn if we stay in this position, I might f*** around and fly to Vegas for game 1 and 2.

*shrug* I get a kick out of being the only avs fan surrounded by hawks fans in chicago.

Plus it's not like this is a football match where you're on your feet & singing the whole time :dunno:

Echoing your "it's way too early" quote but I'm honestly looking at this too. Wouldn't be for games 1 and 2 but I'm actually getting Married in Mexico in the middle of round 1. I have vacation time booked off and no real plans directly following the wedding. If it goes that way I may try to convince the missus to head to Vegas for a few days post wedding and hope it goes to game 7.

Thanks for the invite.

The "demand" needs to be there for Avs fans to sell out games first. They only started showing up once March came around and even then this is the first sellout of the season I believe and that is with a ton of help from Red Wings fans.

Also doesnt help that the Pepsi Center has a deal with a non-Colorado ticket broker giving them thousands of tickets per game to sell on the secondary market.

If we can make the playoffs this season and then attract a top star UFA player like John Tavares (or someone else) to this team we would probably have a consecutive season sell out games at home just like we did when Sakic and Forsberg played together. We would probably see many less opposing teams fans too with 2 deadly scoring top lines on our team.

Man, MacKinnon is just too good.

The game wasn't close on the scoreboard but I thought the Avs were outplayed for most of the last two periods. Varly played great and the second MacKinnon goal was big because the Wings were really coming on.

This game reminded me near the end of our 10 game winning streak when we weren't playing good hockey but it wasn't showing on the scoreboard, we had a bit of a rough patch after that. Hopefully this time they just had one bad game (and won it anyway).

They can't play like this and expect to win at this time of the year.
