So, are you Ronnie's agent, then? Don't you have something better to do than harass fans of your client's former team?
Upon further reflection and analysis, I remember him being arrested for public urination too.Perhaps Jeff O'Neill, as a representative of the Hurricanes franchise, should instead be embarrassed of his several DUI arrests. Those who live in glass houses should not throw stones.
O'Neill is a pot stirrer. Not worth any handwringing over I don't think. Anyway I'd be surprised if he has more than a fuzzy memory of his time in Raleigh- he couldn't have been sober for much of it.
When I was growing up, our family happened to be family friends with the Wallin family, due to my sister being friends with Nic’s daughter.
Easily a third of the overall stories I got to hear about life as a Hurricane revolved around what a ****ty dude O’Neill was.
I'm more annoyed by the N&O giving him a forum for that kind of outburst by publishing what amounts to a hit piece on the team. And it's not the first time they've done that sort of thing in the past couple of months. Wonder if there's some sort of relationship issue there.
I wonder how he manages to keep working in broadcasting then. It’s not like he’s so good people would look past him being an ahole.
You think every local rag doesn't do this?
The easiest way to generate clicks is HOT TAEK. No journalism required!
Most reporters used to be at least a step up from bloggers. Even that's not true at this point.
True, but there's been a bit of a heel turn by the N&O over the past few months. Even with Luke throwing the occasional dart, they used to be soft as hell on the Canes.

I imagine that's exactly WHY he keeps a job in broadcasting. He gets people talking/clicking/watching with his antics and the bosses are happy
[tweet]Any chance Tulsky gets the GM spot? Any thoughts on that possibility?
Tulsky was working in Applied Nanoscience in California a few years ago. He’s a soft spoken and humble guy who turned his hobby (iirc of which he was a Flyers fan more interested in the data side than the hockey side) into a job. He’s not fit to be the GM of a NHL Franchise, he’s perfect for the job he’s in.
It's like having a guy who's a perfect 4C. You don't put that guy on the first line just because he did a great job on the PK.
Unless you are Bill Peters and that 4C is Derek Ryan.

Don't be ridiculous, Derek Ryan can't PK.
