Even if he ends up sucking I don't care. He's my favorite player of all time. Just happy he's here.

Yes! The first Canadian team. I've been waiting for this moment since forever.

I wonder if he put a clause in where he is allowed to go play in the Olympics...... At his age and specific nationality i wouldn't be surprised if it meant a great deal to him

Nope. If you have an NHL contract, you can't play in the Olympics. Period.

Pretty sure there was talk from him in 2014 about it being his last one as well so younger guys could go.

Congrats guys, great signing! Haven't bought a hockey jersey of any flavor since my Calgary Theo Fleury, but a Jagr Calgary jersey might be too good to pass up.

Fun fact: Jagr played his first game ever for the Czechoslovakian national team against Calgary back in 1989 in Prague.

Jagr has ended his career for Czech national team in 2014 after Ice Hockey World Championships in Minsk. There were lot of speculations about his return before World Cup last year but he, once again confirmed his retirement from national team.

Wild fan dropping in to say congratulations! Wanted Jagr play another season in the NHL, and he seems like a good fit to your roster. Enjoy the mullet!

Seems like most people are happy with this . . .

I guess I'm more happy with this than an Iginla return. Hopefully JJ doesn't hurt us.

I cannot express how cool I think this is. I’m so hyped just to have him on the Flames. An undisputed top 10 all time player, there’s been no bigger name to play for the Flames, ever. Even if he’s not what he was, this is really cool as a fan. He’s gonna help Bennett, Janko, Monahan and Johnny a lot.

What a day!

His bio says he's a sports writer in the Czech Republic, so I assume these are actual things Jagr said today.
Edit: Ryan Pike also retweeted them, so there's that.
