The guys on Hockey Central at Noon wonder if the Maple Leafs trade floodgates are about to open, and think a disgruntled Jake Gardiner might benefit from a change of address.

No! Wait until the deadline. This lineup needs to be kept intact as long as possible. They trade a few guys and bring in fresh blood they might win. The tank commanders have it under control.

This really bothers me. This guy is our highest paid player, marquee player and should lead by example. All he cares about is playing offensive minded game so he can score 30 goals.
Sick of Kessel, please get rid of him

Yea, those days were the worst. We'd finish 7th last in the league over a full season instead of 2nd last, 9th last, 5th last, and 8th last

Just having Richards and ROR would go a long way for the mindset of this organization. Such ****** effort levels and mentality all around. Just looks like a group of employees, not a team. WE NEED TO BUILD A BROTHERHOOD.

Too bad Stars aren't in on lupul, would've be nice to pick up their 2nd
If you ask nicely, maybe Ottawa will be happy to give it to you.
As for any Stars-Leafs trade talk, I think Reimer would be a great addition to what is one of the shakiest goalie tandems in the league. The blueline hasn't helped on most nights, sure, but Kari's been off a whole lot, and Lindback/Rynnas just plain isn't working.
I doubt Phaneuf's going anywhere, but if Shanny or Nonis.....ok, Shanny, pull the trigger on any deal, I could see him and Stars' GM Jim Nill working on a blockbuster to send Phaneuf back out West.

Phaneuf would be a good fit for Dallas I think, but I'm not sure if you guys have (reasonable) pieces that would interest the Leafs.
