My lunch was Braunschweiger on toast with sliced tomato, onion, pickle, and mustard. My husband's making some kind of pork shoulder thing in the slow cooker that he's going to pull. He rarely cooks, but when he does, it's delicious. Myself, I'm providing some baked beans as a side dish. North Carolina style-ish in honor of the Canes tonight. Don't know exactly what I'm going to do but I got a couple cans of navy beans, a can of tomato paste, an onion, I have plenty of apple cider vinegar, mustard, a well-stocked spice cabinet, and I'll just make something up as I go along like I tend to.

More food posting: I made some cinnamon raisin pinwheels for my now former workplace just now, except I used too much leavening in the dough, so they rose into each other and exploded. I'm going to take them in anyway, because they taste fine. They just look a little funny.
