Just hard to get into a game that looks like a Wii game.
I'm sure many others feel this way too.
Somehow you managed before 2005.

I recommend you watch it in HD.
There's no way Breath of the Wild looks like a 2007 game.
I don't care what the game is. I would never wait in a line like this for a demo.
Seriously. That is madness.

I really don't care about graphics. I still play oblivion
You clearly don't care about gameplay either.
Maybe I'm just an old fart but it brings me great joy to see so many gamers get enthralled by a new Zelda games.
Brings back a lot of good memories from 1998.
I'm just not sold on VR as anything more than an expensive fad right now. This E3 hasn't changed that.
Really? I thought 3D was a fad which would die out when VR became more mainstream, and I was right. VR is still in its infancy and you need pretty powerful hardware to run it well at the moment, but it's the future imo. I can't really think of anything else that could beat the immersion that virtual reality offers. It will get better and more affordable as the industry and technology advances.

I understand this mentality for gritty, realistic games that haven't aged well, but for something like Zelda it's pretty dumb. Good gameplay is good gameplay.
The inherent value of immersion is greatly overstated.
Yeah, everyone knows how getting lost in a work of art is such a lacking experience.

Correction: immersion has different value to different people.
My loathing for you people who just want your TV and standard controller will never end
Valve thinks immersion is the next big drug and it got them off their ass to do something. I'm inclined to believe them.
