Howard was already down to the ice by the time Kadri got the puck. Need to make a better attemp to save it there at the NHL level. Sure it was a nice shot, but Howard gave him the entire corner. Goal 2 was weak too. Howard is gonna get shelled tonight. I personally think this should have been Mrazek's start, but evidentally Blashill believes Howard is the clearcut starter.

His angle wasn't great on the first one. I agree the second one was just plain bad luck. But really tough start for Jimmy tonight. Hopefully they can bounce back.

He went down way too early o that Kadri shot. That's not proper goaltending. A beer league player could have scored there, assuming they were able to pick a corner. Yes, nice shot by Kadri. Howard should not have been down that early.

It is what it is there. Very tough start, again I was not enamored at all with his angle on the first one. You can like Kadri's shot but Howard failed to put himself in a position to stop it.

You're missing the point. He went down way too early. There is no denying it. Watch the replay and look how early he went down. An NHL goalie should know better.
