When Krejci is back, I would prefer:

63-37-10
72/83-46-88
74-42-43

I think Heinen and DeBrusk would be good together and it would allow JD to see 3rd line D instead of the top 6 matchups he's getting now. Good for everybody.

Yeah that’s a good lineup. I’ve been hard on Vatrano, but why not give him a look with Krejci? I’d rather see Cehlarik there, but I’m not opposed to giving Vatrano one more solid shot to produce. If he can’t produce with 46-88 in 6-10 games, call up Cehlarik.

I hope Backes stays at center, that’s a dangerous 3rd line.

So simple, yet so beautiful. That was a beautiful hockey sequence.

Congrats on your first NHL goal, Mr. Heinen

Awesome first goal by the kid, fitting that it was a shorty.

Reminds me of eriksson in his day. Hopefully he builds off of this and sticks, awesome drafting by these guys the last few years.

AHLers up and AHLers down.....what else is new in Sweeney land. Not much changes year to year....You get a little better you get a little worse....You tight rope the 8 spot and you never expect more.......Mediocre NHL talent.....Thats what this guy loves. He trades for it and he sign's it as FA........Mediocre player mediocre GM........Step right up.....Here comes Agostino.......11 dollar beers and please make sure to stop at the Bruin shop for all your Christmas items...
Good call

congrats to Heinen, watching him play so good in AHL and seeing it translate to NHL is so awesome.

Keep it up, he thinks the game so well, his passing and vision are great, love that he is killing penalties. Put him anywhere.

He has got thrown on 3rd-4th line and he has produced. 5 points in 4 games.

I've been high on Heinen ever since I saw some of his NCAA games during his freshman year with Denver. Liked his style. I'm very happy for him and his development. Hope he continues improving. I just don't see a reason why he shouldn't stay up at the NHL level.

That time in the AHL has made him the most complete prospect player in my view, amazing how many good young players we have now.

Another good game for the kid quietly making things happen.
Heck if he can score two goals every ten games I think we all should be happy, that would give him 16 goals his rookie year. I'll take it.

I say that because some people expect instant gratification out of all our rookies and prospects. The kids need time to learn and develop at this level and as long as they keep developing and improving and don't flatline that's all we can ask. Most of the time we don't know what we have in a player until their 3rd year in the NHL.
So I'm not inclined to write any of our prospects off; the next two to three years should be interesting and exciting with much expectations.
I am excited and intrigued by the potential that's in the pipeline.

Vatrano 7 games 0 points. Beleskey 6 games 0 points. Spooner hurt. There's zero reason Heinen should be in Providence. I hope he's here to stay! Heinen displaying great finish last night. And some savvy stick checking to free the puck near the goaline before his 2nd goal

This team needs goal scoring depth. Marchand and Pasta have 6 goals. Bjork has 3, Schaller, Debrusk and Heinen have 2. If we keep playing Vatrano and Beleskey we will never score. We need depth that puts the puck in the net not depth that can sometimes forcheck.

Great game for Heinen...if he continues this eating crow will certainly be pleasant.
feel free to PM me for my recipe for a great sauce to go with for as you know, I`ve had to eat an unhealthy amounts of it myself

Just watched the game, so happy for the kid, appears like he`s busted his arse to work on his game. Just plays a sound 200 ft game, I know this bores many here, not this fan

So gotta say, regardless of the goals yesterday, I thought he was easily the best player on the ice. His forechecking was great, he was making smart plays especially under pressure. He looks extremely confident. I personally think we have now found our 3rd duo:

63/37
46/88
42/43

As others have said congrats on his first and second NHL goals. Long way to go but like others I really like his game. Reminds me a bit of a smaller slower Krejci.
