Some very decent Hockey Plays regardless of the outcome is what most of us have been hoping for two seasons now.Didn't watch the game. But if Montreal wins from goals by Suzuki, Slaf, assists from Cole, Xhekaj, and even RHP and Pez getting on the scoresheet as 4th liners, then I can live with such wins.
He is limited in talent but he competes hard and is a good bottom pairing D.I wonder where he would be if he could pass the puck.
Yeah the frustrating wins is when guys like Armia, Andy and co are the ones scoring lolDidn't watch the game. But if Montreal wins from goals by Suzuki, Slaf, assists from Cole, Xhekaj, and even RHP and Pez getting on the scoresheet as 4th liners, then I can live with such wins.
Nice then he should finish the season with about 105 goals. Not too shabby!I don’t watch the second and third and of course Slaf scores 2. I am not watching another period this year
Monty .944, attababe. such a good story this season
Tbf Slaf has whiffed on a lot of those passes lol tonight was a positive showing in terms of shooting, but he does need to get better at it to consistently scoreI swear they played 80 minutes on the PP this season and it's Matheson's 4th pass to Slakovsky on the PP and that goal was a thing of beauty!!! Nevermind the toedrag from the left circle a couple of minutes earlier and the kid is 19.
For all the heat the current scouting staff is getting on this board, I think they might have been right on that 1 OA pick..... and I was upset on draft night
He was pretty bad haha everyone here was whining like myself and then he told us to f*** offSlaf was arguably the best Habs skater even before scoring his two goals.
Pearson needs to apologize
They got it rightI swear they played 80 minutes on the PP this season and it's Matheson's 4th pass to Slakovsky on the PP and that goal was a thing of beauty!!! Nevermind the toedrag from the left circle a couple of minutes earlier and the kid is 19.

I agree... but they should wait for non tank years to blossom.Found gold for sure, what a waiver pick up. I dunno what it is about Montreal and goalies, but we are very fortunate.
The big 3- Suzuki, Slaf, PezzettaI see you.....first in with a simple discuss...than an edit with the pezz vs Marty hair gif! My favorite

No way he would have tried a drag shot like his first goal earlier this season. This is a very new thing. It tells me they’ve been working with him on using new shot releases that actually work in the NHL.Tbf Slaf has whiffed on a lot of those passes lol tonight was a positive showing in terms of shooting, but he does need to get better at it to consistently score

Lol that's crazy. I guess he plays PK and PP, but still.
At least Suzuki had more 5v5.
