hofer needs to figure out playing the puck

he might be good at it, but his decision making is poor with it

a large part of being good at puck handling is making good decisions. Without good decisions you cannot have the good part.

Bad luck. The puck was knocked from behind the net with a funny bounce off the board just by Hofer's skate, straight to a Canuck, right in front, who sends it by Hofer. The Caqnucks are back only one behind.

Nice glove save by Hofer during a lightning volley by The Canucks. The Blues look tired now. It seems that The Canucks Can just keep coming back into The Blues zone and it's only a matter of time until a good bounce sends the puck to an open forward to pop it in. Also, they get to the puck first. So, it's going to take a non-stop hustling effort by The Blues, plus a little luck for them to hold on.

Nice chance for Buchnevich. And back up ice, Hofer makes another flashy glove save. The Blues are too gassed to even take the puck all the way to The Canucks' zone. They keep dumping it off, letting The Canucks come right back into their zoine, keeping the pressure on, and tiring The Blues out even more.

The officiating tonight f***ing sucks. Taking away Schenn’s goal was bullshit and why Vancouver is still in it.

Now, The exhausted Blues will need to kill off a penalty. This won't be easy. They'll need a 110% effort and a LOT of shot-blocking by The PKers, and acrobatic saves by Hofer. Hofer has been watching Binnington. Glad to see he's got some spirit, too.
