I was wondering about AHL stats so I did a bit of research. Many times I have seen Bingo have more shots than the opposition and it appears to be true.

Shots For : 31 GP, 920 SF, 29.68 SF/GP (18th)
Shots Against : 31 GP, 847 SA, 27.32 SA/GP (6th)

Since there is a lot of corsi lovers out there, it seems that Bingo isn't as terrible as their record indicates...

However there is 3 stats that they really need to do better :

PP : 31 GP, 115 PP, 13 PPG, 11.3% (29th)
PK : 31 GP, 105 PK, 22 PPGA, 79% (24th)
SV% : 0.882 (29th)

With the win last nite Binghamton has crawled out of the league crapper..... Alas not by much but they are out of it today........ Will they stay out of it I have my doubts........

I think they've done it for the third time in the past 2 weeks. Always end up back in there somehow.

But what do you mean "looks like Ottawa last yr"? Maybe bad PK and PP? Because Bingo are 6th for Shots Against per year, which is good. Sens were 29th IIRC last year.

1st Period-1, Toronto, Kapanen 14 (Rychel, Leipsic), 17:21 (PP). 2, Binghamton, Harpur 1 (Sieloff, Paul), 18:46. Penalties-Valiev Tor (hooking), 7:46; Robinson Bng (cross-checking), 10:06; Loov Tor (hooking), 12:31; Rodewald Bng (high-sticking), 16:22.
Marlies came out fast Sens were a step behind for the 1st 10 min.... Kapanen finishes on a nice back door pass Driedger had no chance on that 1....... Harpur with the wrister from 40' out Sparks we screened........

2nd Period-3, Binghamton, Perron 5 (Robinson, Nehring), 3:01. Penalties-Harpur Bng (tripping), 4:50; Englund Bng (high-sticking), 5:10.
Perron with that lethal wrist shot beats Sparks over the glove side high....... Sens had the better of the play that period.... Sens killed off a 1:41 5 on 3 with hard work....

3rd Period-4, Binghamton, McCormick 8 18:46 (EN). Penalties-Rodewald Bng (hooking), 2:22; Sparks Tor (delay of game - restricted area), 3:34; Nielsen Tor (holding), 9:43; Harpur Bng (slashing), 14:43.

Max ends it with the EN goal...... Pretty even period was waiting for the Marlies to break out did NOT happen tonite.... Overall a good effort by Binghamton..... Still some lapses in their own end happens at this level....

Notes:
Driedger looked better tonite hope he has regained his form.... Gagne showed a few flashes.... Perron kid can shoot the puck nice to have him back in the line up...
Jack Rodewald continues to impress me and the brass as he was signed to a 2 yr AHL contract..... Sens went with 7 "D" in the game....
