oh well CBJ looks out of fuel and Caps had most of that OT - Backstrom deflection 4-3 win!

Wysh has some of the worst takes in the entire hockey world, even disregarding what team he’s a fan of

Thoughtless of a team to show their rivals golfing when they are down 3-1 in the first round of playoffs and trailing 1-0 after the first period?

That devils trade including that 2nd round pick is looking so good right now. Going to be some good players in that spot no doubt. We can use it to trade up if needed as well

If Hall doesn't win the MVP they should just stop handing out the award.

That NJD team is not good.
And again, I made the same argument about Jagr in 2005-06. I agree with you, FWIW, but I wouldn't be shocked to see Hall not win the award. It's not in the spirit of what the award should be if he doesn't win it. Just do away with it and just hand out the Art Ross. 8/12 of the last Hart winners won the Art Ross too.

How could Gorton do so well in the Grabner trade and then get blown out of the water in the Tampa deal

Grabner was healthy scratched today. Thanks for the 2nd rounder and longshot but promising prospect, NJ!

Did they seriously take a potshot at us while down in the playoffs when they weren't even playing us? Oh man, the salt from their fanbase when we finish over them next year if Hall goes down to a long term injury will be enough to fill the Atlantic.

We have no idea what Howden will be or Hajek or what those 2 draft picks will be. If any of those 4 pieces become a cog of this rebuild it's a good deal. Anything more than that, it's a great deal.

That's the problem though. There shouldn't have been any "ifs" with this return. We should have gotten a high end young NHL player.

So disappointed in Gropp but watching Barzal this year it’s no surprise. I’d have 50 pts playing on a line with him. Our scouts should have realized it though.

Gropp has a great shot tailor made to look good next to a good center. He didn’t have one in Hartford and never played with Chytil.
