Random thoughts:

• Miller is a frustrating player. He makes a few great plays in-between scores of inaccurate passes or giveaways. But because of linemates, no one notices.
• John Moore would be a good addition to our team as a 6-7 defenseman for 1-2 years as a free pick-up.
• McDonagh plays in a shutdown role alongside Stralman. Subjectively, it seems to me that Stralman is the puck-mover in that pairing.
  
• For Tampa Bay, the playoffs will truly start in the second round. This felt like a series of regular season games which were close only because of the opposing goaltender, Schneider.

Unfortunate for the Devils. It took an MVP season from Hall to make the playoffs and they bought Grabner at the deadline. Next year will be interesting for the Devils. Hall won't get nearly as much space and coaches will put emphasis on the team D to shut Hall down since the rest of their lineup is far less dangerous.
